Our first two weeks with Heston

We are really enjoying getting to know this little guy. He is so pleasant.

I never thought I'd hear myself say that I love a new born's cry. I can honestly say when Heston is hungry he has the sweetest cry I have ever heard...or seen. He has a low raspy voice and puckers out is bottom lip. (I'll try to get it on video and share it with you.)

At Hestons two week check up he wieghed 9lbs 5oz. He is a big boy. He has filled out since his check up...the boy likes to eat!

Haven absolutely loves her little brother. Her favorite things right now is to cuddle with him in her bed during her bedtime story. (We enjoy it too. It really is a special family time.) Every morning before school Haven gets ready as fast as she can so she can hold Heston, read him books, and talk to him. She is such a big helper and we are so proud of her being such a wonderful big sister.

Heston has had a lot of firsts the past two weeks. If you'd like to see more pictures go to our website at www.hhhtoombs.shutterfly.com

We are looking forward to meeting this little (or should I say big) guy. Jaidyn can't stop talking about how she gets to go to Haven's house this weekend. She has the countdown until Saturday going. I think she has actually learned the days of the week this week as she is constantly asking what days Saturday comes after. :) See you all soon!
