A first for Haven

She climbed her first tree.

Thank goodness Hunter was home! I looked out the window to check on Haven and the neighbor girl, Hannah. I didn't see them but noticed the tree across the street going crazy. As I looked closer I could see Haven and Hannah's face as the limbs went up and down from them jumping in the tree. Hannah was at the tip top and Haven was just about half way up. I couldn't help but think they were going to lose their footing or break the limbs from jumping. I didn't know what to do first...take time to grab the camera or just run out the door to tell them to, "Stop jumping!" So I yelled at Hunter, "Haven is up in a tree!" and I ran to grab the camera. (After all it was a first.) So to wrap up the story Haven did lose her footing just as Hunter got to her and he kept her from falling.(Hannah made it down safely with Hunter's guidance.)In the end I got my picture and we celebrated Haven climbing her first tree. (Later we discussed a new rule not to climb the tree unless there is an adult watching.)
