My mom drove down the other day to help me cook SEVEN different dishes to freeze. It will be so nice to just pop a dish in the oven while I am recovering from having Heston. We had a lot of fun and some help from, "Chef Haven". My mom took a picture of me with flour all over my belly. I had no idea that my belly was cleaning the counter as it rubbed up against it. It was too funny when I discovered how dirty it was.
Haven was getting a lesson from Lala on how to cook safely with raw chicken. She did a great job cleaning her hands and not touching anything but the chicken. Out of all the jobs she wanted the one I definitely would not have picked for her. I think she had high hopes of eating the butter... she loves butter. (As gross as that is, I can remember wanting to eat butter, yuck!) She did very good and did not give into any temptation to eat the butter that she was dipping raw chicken into. Lala was a good teacher.
Have I mentioned yet that I have the best mom in the world??? I am so blessed by her. I don't know what I would do without her.

Great idea! I always try to freeze a few meals at the beginning of December as the month is so hectic. I would love for you to share some of your freezer meals as I am always looking for new recipes...remember I only like recipes with 5 ingredients or less.
The butter story cracks me up! I can remember sneaking chunks off of the butter out of the refrigerator and then putting it on a toothpick and pretending it was a popsicle. Just the thought of it now makes me want to gag. Yuck!
Yes, you do have a great mom and she is also a great mother-in-law. :)
You get your beautiful looks from your mother!
